This has happened about more than I like, my dormitory has more than one college in it, first colleges Metro-State, UCD, and CCD, then we have students from various other colleges, and a big one from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD). Recently there has been some hate against the RMCAD students who are pretty much my friends. What we have been noticing is that students from a group called Firehouse no. 1 ministry have been getting priority over everything that the dorms.

Last night my anime club was to meet from 5 to 7 at the amplitheater for watching shows like Death Note, Ninja Nonsense, and Black Cat. At 6pm one of the CAs attempted to kick us off claiming that her group was to have it at six, when they knew full well that the Anime club filed for the theater a good three weeks earlier. All she wanted to do was watch the pathetic Oscars, she said we could have the theatre afterward which would be around ten.

So I decided that since this has happened to me, it won't happen again, I am going to resident's council, but it won't make a world of difference since that stupid CHRISTIAN THIRD RIECH of Firehouse Ministry runs just about everything.

I don't know if this really a case of discrimination, but more a case of a simple misunderstanding about who reserved the theatre.

Any more details?

I'd figure if things like this happen more than once it's more than just a simple misunderstanding. The question that remains is how can you get results. I feel like if you talk to other students that also feel like they are being discriminated against also you might get somewhere. Power in numbers.
