Hallo!
Ich wollte mich hier mal informieren über Wissenswertes zum Thema England. Werde nämlich bald einige Zeit dort verbringen (Sprachreise England). Weil mein Englisch nach der Schulzeit total abgebaut hat, muss ich es jetzt dringenst nachholen, damit ich mich für die „guten“ Jobs bewerben kann. Ohne Englisch ist man heutzutage schliesslich völlig aufgeschmissen. Also hat mich ein Kommilitone auf Sprachreisen in England aufmerksam gemacht. Ich war schon immer ein Fan von dem Staat auf der Insel und vor allem London hat mich als Stadt schon imemr unglaublich fasziniert! Also bin ich zu dem Entschluss gekommen, ein paar Wochen dort zu verbringen. Schliesslich ist es ja altbekannt, dass der beste Weg um eine Sprache so richtig zu lernen, der Aufenthalt in einem Land ist, in dem man die Sprache spricht. Ich habe mcih für England entschieden, weil mir das Britische Englisch dann doch besser gefällt als das amerikanische. Und obwohl ich schon viel über England gelesen habe und auch schon auf Klassenfahrt dort war, fehlen mir doch wichtige Inseidertips. Wo kann man billig essen zum Beispiel? Und wie macht mans sich bei seiner Gastfamilie beliebt? Das sind alles so Fragen, die mir vielleicht jemand bewantworten könnte der schon mal eine Sprachreise nach England gemacht hat. Also, wer was weiss, bitte melden! Danke!

Yea google translator doesn't seem to do too good of a job. I've never been to England myself but several of my friends have studied abroad there. They said it was interesting how early everything closes and of course everyone always complains about the weather.
