I'm sorry for this shameless self advertising, but I hope some of you can help me.
I'm from Germany and study psychology at the university of Wuerzburg. My girlfriend studies psychology, too, and is now doing her diploma thesis.
It's a cross-cultural study with Germans, Chinese and US-Americans. Unfortunately she doesn't speak English very well and it is very hard for her to get US-American participants, so she asked me for help. As an incentive everyone who participates has the chance to win some money. Unfortunately we hardly get any funds for a diploma thesis from our university, so we can't pay everyone. This is why the approach of a 'lottery' is chosen.
Thanks in advance for everyone who participates and if you have any questions or concerns, please ask me!
This is the 'introduction letter' she asked me to post:

Female and male participants wanted - Win up to $50!

The department of Work, Industrial, and Organizational Psychology at the University of Wuerzburg in Germany conducts an Internet study which investigates the effects of different work conditions at the PC.

The study consists of two consecutive sections with the second section being started one week after the first one.

You can win up to $50, if you participate at both sections! Yet, it is a prerequisite of payment to finish both study sections.

If you are interested, please click the link below to start the first part of the study which will take you about 5-10 minutes.

We would be very happy if you would participate!

Your data will of course be kept in strict confidence and will exclusively be used for research purposes.

Kind regards,

Seems interesting. I got excited when I heard that you were from Germany and especially from Wuerzburg. All of my family is from there and my sister is actually living there right now. Also both my parents graduated from there. When I get some free time over the weekend I'll take the survey.

hmmm, are you sure this isn't one of those deals where you make money off getting people like us to take surveys?

It's the actual university website so it seems pretty legit to me.
