hmm, that guy basically breaking into the grad student's office is a bit fishy, even though they say it's school property.

It doesn't surprise me that they shut it down but why not just ban his ip from the internet. I know at Rutgers if you upload more than a certain amount they automatically suspend you're account for a week instead of going into your room and taking you network hub. He was still using a very large amount of bandwidth (33%), but they should have just disable his internet connection and sent him an email or something.
