The cost of higher education continues to climb higher. Even after this year's increase in federal scholarships such as Pell grants, the price students pay out of pocket to attend a typical college this academic year is still around $500 more than last year, the College Board calculated in a report released Monday. And, it turns out, it's also taking students more time (and thus even more money) to earn those degrees.

So at what point does college become "not worth it?"

Even though college has gotten more expensive more people than ever are going to college than ever before. Even a generation ago the saying was "Look to you left, look to your right, one of those people will no longer be hear when you graduate." In my opinion it seems like nowadays you can't do anything without a college degree and partly that is because almost everyone can go out and get one.
