I can definitely think of a few instances when I was sure my phone was going off, and it wasn't.  There are also times when I was standing and I felt my jeans vibrating, and when I go to reach into my pocket I don't even have my phone on me.

i've never had that happen to me when my phone wasn't on me.  most of the time if i think my phone is vibrating and it isn't...it's because i'm waiting for a call or something.

yea it usually happens to me when I'm driving or something like that where the car is vibrating anyway
