what a brutal game.  my sister had a bf a long time ago who played rugby.  he got popped real hard and it broke the part of his skull around his eye....his eye was hanging out of his head to some extent supposedly.  some of those hits were total blindside hits...but it seemed like some of them set themselves up for the hit they took...it was like, you really didn't see that coming???

Yea it probably has to do with the tough guy mentality that rugby players have, still fun to watch though
