I work in my universities bookstore. Now I was thinking today during the course of my daily routine, what annoys me. I'm annoyed when I have to put bar codes on the back of books especially for large classes. Also, I don't stock the shelves with textbooks so I am absolutely annoyed when I must turn books so that titles face the same way and the page side is not sticking out so people can read the titles. So what annoys you guys?  Roll Eyes

I would say the top three things that annoy me are:

1)  I work in a restaurant part time as a waiter.  One thing that annoys me is when I'm really busy taking care of a few tables and I go over to one table and ask them if they are all set to order.  They will tell me they are, and then proceed to continue looking at the menu deciding on what they want to have, mean while all my other tables need something.   angryfire

2)  Traffic.  I know everyone hates traffic, but it especially annoys me when you're sitting in traffic for 30 minutes, and then out of no where it will just start moving again.  No accident, no construction, it will just pick right back up.

3)  People who pay with checks.  I don't know why, but I just don't understand it.  In todays society where there are credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, etc.,  I don't understand the need to pull out a check book.  This Visa commercial illustrates what I'm saying perfectly.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOMhNb6jtrg

I'll be the first person to admit that I'm not a morning person and also not the tidiest person. Even though I'm not cleanest person I still like to think that I know where all of my things are. I get really annoyed when people borrow or move something of mine and then don't tell me about it. This is worse in the morning when I'm looking for something that I need that day and I can't find it. Another morning thing that really annoys me is when I'm ready to go and I have to wait for someone to get ready and they're making both of us late.

I have to agree with biodan on that one.

I feel like the NJ telemarketing law it pretty effective so I hardly ever have to deal with them. However, for some reason my cell phone number is in the Department of Transportation databank so occasionally I'll get calls asking people to come inspect a container or things like that.

These banner ads:

The kind with sound that go "Hellooooooooo" and "Whaaaat?!?" when you roll the cursor over them.

You shouldn't have gotten me started on this topic.  A lot of things annoy me.

I record the TV shows I want to watch so I can fast-forward through commercials.  Now the commercials for other shows appear at the bottom of the screen.  Oh, and I can't get the timer to work exactly right, so the last minute or so gets cut off.

Ian...ditto on the customers saying they're ready and then taking forever to decided after the fact.

More Chimeny Rock Inn/Restaurant ones...

-People who split a check under 15 dollars with two cards...yes this happened recently
-People who ask for micro-brew beers that would never be in a regular restaurant.  Thank you for showing me that you are a true beer Kano-Saur sir, here's your cookie...now please pick from the list that's right in front of your face.  Smiley
-People who ask what a Super-Salad is when I ask them whether they'd like a soup OR salad with their meal.
-People who order two or more different drinks for themselves at once
-People who finish their drink seconds after you give it to them, and then every 4 minutes until they leave

i coud go on, but not right now, im tired

People that abbreviate words that are just as many syllables if they would just say the word, same applies for texting and the word being just as long.

Ex. OMG
