Has any else been hearing rumors that Goggle has plans to release their own phone? I've heard this a few times, but initially dismissed it as fiction. However there have been a few credible sources who have began talking about the possibility of a goggle phone (BBC, wallstreet journal, engadget). In addition, goggle has been thinking about bidding on a wireless spectrum, which definitely adds fuel to the fire.

However, I can't see how anyone would want adds on their personal cell phone regardless if its free or not. I'm not sure who goggle is targeting in this market.
